SPHTN is a web-based multi-platform system capable of
managing the flood information hydrological telemetry system, the early flood
warning siren system, and flood monitoring web cameras. The information from
the SPHTN system will be used to disseminate early flood warning information to
flood management agencies and subsequently to the public. This system will be
installed in 12 State DID (Department of Irrigation and Drainage) offices and
will be equipped with various application modules, including a user module, a
management module, a report generation module, a display module, an integration
module for existing and new data, and a web camera module. SPHTN is also
capable of processing data integration from all telemetry hydrology stations,
sirens, and web cameras in the involved States to the SPHTN server (live data)
for transmitting information regarding rainfall status, river water levels, and
early flood warnings to the relevant State DID hydrology management and the
public.
